In finals, Tai faced the challenge from He Bing Jiao. This was the 6th head-to-head competition between them. The world no.1 led the record in 4-1; however, He Bing Jiao firstly got 3 chances to close the first game. The queen soon cooled down and saved all game points. She finally took the first game in 22-20. 


In the second game, He Bing Jiao had no chance to threaten the queen anymore. Tai was right in her rhythm and won the title in 21-11. This was her 4th straight champions in 2018.
